Witty, charismatic, and the life of the party, Dan is the complete opposite of scowling, responsible, too-serious Phin—and that’s exactly why I love him. The more she scowls, the more he turns up the charm. Writing him slowly melt the ice around her heart—while gleefully getting under her skin every chance he gets—was one of my favorite parts of their story.
Add in a zombie corn maze wedding, an axe-throwing heroine, and a missing flower Pomeranian, and you’ve got a few more of my favorite things packed into one chaotic Halloween romance.
