Portugal Day Four: Island Hopping & Bone Chapel in Faro

Island hopping on our “private” four-hour boat tour was amazing. (Private because we suspect that other passengers cancelled under the threat of rain… but we lucked out!) We learned about local bird life on Armona Island, strolled along Deserta Island’s beaches, and enjoyed lunch at A Da Nelia on Culatra Island.

Back on land, we climbed to the top of Faro Cathedral’s bell tower and toured the Capela dos Ossos (Chapel of Bones) at Igreja do Carmo (Church of the Third Order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.)

To top off our sweet adventure, we finished our day with waffles and gelato at Sapori.

Another day, another memory.
