“Despite her efforts for a quick spruce up, she’d clearly been couch rotting. Her orange “Here for the boos!” t-shirt sported sherpa Snuggie fuzzies over the ghost double fisting martini glasses. A spatter of ice cream dotted her hair, which she’d hastily twirled up into a topknot. Stubborn curls that refused to be tamed sprang in front of both ears, and when she licked her lips, they darkened a subtle shade. Julian’s heart clenched.
