My Favorite Scene | The City Beneath

Today, I’m starting a “My Favorite Things” video series, where I celebrate some of my favorite memories from my books. In this first video, I discuss my favorite scene.

Spoilers ahead! I could see the ending of The City Beneath from the very beginning of writing that book. I envisioned the hero, Dominic Lysander, flash shifting into his monstrous, gargoyle form to protect the heroine: “To cross me was to cross him. And no one would dare cross him.” Watch the video for a snippet reading of this scene!
