One of my favorite parts of writing this story was the first kiss:

“The kiss was searing, soft, and intoxicating. She tasted like she smelled, sweet and addicting; one lick wouldn’t be enough. She pulled back, and Gerard found himself leaning forward, keeping their lips pressed together for another moment, lingering under her spell, the most powerful magic of all: natural chemistry.”
