Writing paranormal romance is especially fun because it gives me the opportunity to use elements like magic to reflect problems in real life. I loved doing this in my story, Ghostly Intentions. The hero, Colton, has never enjoyed practicing magic. His powers are dangerous and unpredictable, often with their own intent opposite of his own, but when he merges magic with Nannette, he has a unique experience: pleasure and control while wielding magic. With Nannette, magic is something to be enjoyed, not feared. Embraced, not avoided 🥰 Sometimes it’s not the experience itself but who you experience it with that makes all the difference.
