From the Pet’s POV | Beyond the Next Star Reading

One of the many joys I experienced while writing Beyond the Next Star was depicting the bond between pet and owner. In my novel, normal, seemingly uneventful interactions become hilarious, awkward, and even frightening from the pet’s point of view – because the pet is a human. In this reading, you’ll hear one of these interactions: Torek discussing with a friend how owning Delaney is more like caring for a child than an animal (the exotic breeds are more demanding)… and her needy and dramatic temperament may be the death of him 😂
