Happy Independence Day weekend! I’ve been enjoying my freedom the best way I know how: my toes in the sand, basking in the sun and surf, and escaping into a fantastic book. Diving into a Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer novel feels like the warmth and unconditional love of coming home, made even better by the fact that I’m in a happy place with my own work in progress. I’m thrilled to be on track with a finished first draft by late July! And it’s one of those addictive stories that I just can’t seem to stop obsessing over.
