Alien Romance Book Recommendation: The Host, By Stephenie Meyer

Book recommendation time! Slightly less well-known compared to her Twilight Series, Stephenie Meyer’s The Host was the first alien romance that I ever read and STILL one of my all time favorite novels. There’s a parallel in this book to Wuthering Heights and the quote: “My love for Heathcliff resembles the eternal rocks beneath: a source of little visible delight, but necessary.” Meyer’s play on this theme with her characters was masterfully done in this Body Snatchers-esque love square (instead of triangle, lol) romance. This story is so unique and delicious, I highly recommend!
