Another theme I enjoyed exploring in Sight Beyond the Sun was the bonds of blood versus found family. Both my hero and heroine struggle with the role they were born into. Kinsley has always felt misunderstood because of her love for explosives, and Raveno has always felt inadequate when pitted against his father’s impossible standards. To find happiness, they need to carve their own path and find their own family.
