Nearly a full 10 years ago, I had my very first book signing at my hometown Eastern Monroe Public Library. So much has improved since then – my hair, my wardrobe and my table set up for starters LOL!! – but more than throwback cringe, this memory is especially dear to me because this was the library where I fell in love with reading and romance. This was the library where I stocked up on grocery bags full of $.25 books to read all summer. I borrowed movies and CDs and escaped for hours into worlds where heroines kicked butt and took no prisoners. It’s where I learned to fight for my own happily ever after. After so many years making memories at this library, attending this event as a writer was a huge dream come true. And I shared the moment with my good friend and fellow writer, Rita Bittner. 🥰 Ah, memories.
