Happy New Year!

2022 was quite the year in my writing life – I found an agent, published two short stories, wrote two additional short stories for 2023, and released an audiobook edition of Beyond the Next Star… but finishing Sight Beyond the Sun was by far my biggest writing highlight of the year. I began writing the first draft of Sight Beyond the Sun in January 2020 while Beyond the Next Star was with my editor. I finished part 1 in May of that year and decided (insanely) to write an entire book (separate, yet unpublished) to finish 2020. I resumed writing Sight Beyond the Sun in March 2021 and finished the first draft of part 2 in January of 2022… then spent February-September on personal and professional edits (the longest of my writing life) followed by three months of promoting and publishing prep for a January 24, 2023 release. Sight Beyond the Sun was three full years in the making and the Mount Everest of writing journeys. And I am so unbelievably proud to have climbed to its peak.
