Inspiration collage for the planet Lorien – the setting of Beyond the Next Star! Developing the depth of Lor and Lorok culture – their language, customs, food, government, predators, architecture, etc – was one of my favorite parts of writing this story, only second to developing the romantic plot. Of course, lol!
